Empowerment Counseling Services has been providing innovative counseling services to adults, families, and youth for over 25 years. Join our team! We have two positions available in Salt Lake County, Davis County, and Weber County. Interns currently enrolled in accredited master's degree programs may be considered. Supervision is available.

We offer a flexible schedule, a friendly environment, and great compensation! This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy a flexible schedule, are motivated, and self-disciplined. Some afternoons and evenings may be required.

Salary:

• Master’s Level: Starting at $70,000/year
• Fully Licensed:
  Starting at $88,000/year

Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

• Providing services to clients within the home, office, community, or via teletherapy
• Conducting mental health assessments, treatment planning, and counseling
• Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation of patient information, treatment plans, progress, and outcomes
• Continuously evaluating the effectiveness of treatment and modifying service plans as needed
• Collaborating with our clinical team to coordinate care and ensure implementation of services in the individualized plan
• Participating in case staffing, conferences, and meetings with or without clients
• Providing supportive services, including assistance in maintaining, monitoring, and modifying covered behavioral health services
• Performing intake assessments
• Providing mental health therapy for individuals, couples, families, and children
• Using evidence-based treatment methods for group and individual therapies
• Adhering to all facility and licensing standards

Qualifications

• Master Level Clinicians: MFT, CSW, CMHC
• Fully Licensed Clinicians: LMFT, LCSW, CMHC
• Bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or a related field
• Current and unrestricted marriage and family therapy license issued by the State of Utah
• Previous experience as a mental health therapist preferred
• Effective interpersonal skills, ability to follow instructions, good written and verbal communication skills, and time management skills
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized
