Overview

Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor - Remote (California) with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. This role involves working with a multidisciplinary care team to provide evidence-based therapy for eating disorders in a virtual setting. The program operates across all states and partners with major health plans. Equip is an evidence-based, virtual treatment program dedicated to improving access to care.

• Provide evidence-based family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders and related conditions in a telehealth setting.
• Deliver treatments such as Family-Based Treatment (FBT), enhanced cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT-E), and CBT for ARFID, among other evidence-based approaches.
• Maintain a caseload of 30-40 patients; allocate approximately 20-26 hours to direct care with remaining time for administrative tasks.
• Participate in initial and ongoing trainings; collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team and outside providers.
• Assess and diagnose mental health conditions; communicate with patients and families through Equip’s EMR in line with policies and procedures.
• Engage in Treatment Team meetings, supervision, and department meetings.
• Maintain licensure in the home state and obtain licensure in other states as requested (licensure costs covered by Equip).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Active, unrestricted license to practice psychotherapy in at least one US state within the posting's time zone.
• Ability to support a caseload of patients of all ages and backgrounds with varying acuity.
• Commitment to evidence-based care and availability to provide care up to 8pm in the patient’s primary time zone (two evenings per week).
• Strong teamwork orientation and ability to deliver care virtually.
• Experience in delivering mental health and eating disorder treatment via telehealth.

• Experience in Family-Based Treatment and/or eating disorder treatment.
• Experience with evidence-based treatments and/or intensive treatment settings.
• Experience supporting patients with suicidal ideation and trauma; case management experience.

• $10,000 sign-on bonus for therapists who hold full licensure in California; paid in two installments ($5,000 at signing, $5,000 on one-year anniversary).
• Earning potential: $80,000 to $115,000 annually (Base Pay + 15% annual bonus potential).
