About the Role
We are looking for a Speech Therapist in Home Health to assess, treat, and monitor patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive impairments. The role supports patients in a remote home environment and collaborates with physicians, nurses, and family caregivers.
Primary Responsibilities- Provide services within scope of practice as defined by state laws in coordination with plan of care.
- Evaluate patient function using diagnostic and prognostic tests and assist in developing therapy plan of care.
- Treat patients to communicate effectively according to clinical standards.
- Observe, record, and report patient response to treatment and changes in condition to supervising nurse and/or physician.
- Instruct patient, family, and other team members in speech‑therapy principles and practices.
- Licensed in Speech Therapy in the state of residence.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and dependable vehicle or public transportation access.
Salary range: $71,200 to $127,200 per year based on full‑time employment. Pay is based on local labor markets, education, experience, certifications, and other factors.
