Location:

Safety Harbor, FL. Salary: $68,103.40-$74,913.70. This is a full-time, field-based position. Directions for Living is an essential services provider. All Directions for Living team members must be willing and able to provide vital support and essential services to the people we serve in the event of an emergency, pandemic or other disaster situation.

• Provide clinical consultation in the First Five program, focusing on relationship development with families and early learning center staff, in tandem with observations in centers and homes.
• Assess and determine the need for behavioral intervention plans for learners referred to First Five, in collaboration with center staff, families, and the classroom consultant.
• Develop individual behavior plans and social skill acquisition protocols for children needing behavioral support; collaborate with the Behavior Specialist and Subject Matter Expert to train staff and families on implementing intervention plans.
• Identify children needing behavioral support to determine the most appropriate pathway (low, moderate, or high complexity).
• Provide immediate on-site access to home-based behavioral and social-emotional consultation for critical incidents; conduct debriefings with staff after incidents and communicate with families as needed.
• Work with the First Five team to provide complete, comprehensive services and follow up with staff to improve future practices.
• Meet productivity requirements of 120 client service hours monthly.

• Masters Degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited university.
• Active Florida license or intern eligibility:
  Licensed Psychologist, Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed School Psychologist, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Two years of relevant experience in early childhood education settings is required, including collaboration with center directors, teachers, and caregivers to implement trauma-informed practices.
• Experience assessing behavioral function, developing intervention plans, training and coaching educators and caregivers on intervention plans, and overseeing fidelity of implementation.
