RESPONSIBILITIES
Maximize insurance reimbursement for healthcare practice ownersDiscover root causes for medical insurance claim denial, underpayment, or delay and propose resolutionsInteract with the US-based insurance carriers tofollow-up on unpaid claims, delayed processing, and underpaymentplan and execute medical insurance claim denial appeal processInteract with US-based practice owners and clinicians on completing and correcting any missing or incorrect data on their insurance claimsQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 6 months experience in US-based AR follow-up and charge and payment postingFamiliar with US medical insurance industry and insurance claims processing cycleKnowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCUnderstand CMS-1500 and UB-04 claim formatsExperience in Vericle Software is a must.Excellent listening, communication, and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated and able to work autonomouslyMUST HAVE
High comfort level working on Eastern Time Zone/US ShiftGood internet access at homeMobile HotspotLaptop/Desktop of at least 8 GB#J-18808-Ljbffr
