About the RoleIn support of Locked Core Tech’s Enterprise Tele-Behavioral Health Clinical Services contract with the Defense Health Agency (DHA), we are seeking qualified candidates to fill our Clinical Psychologist positions.
Responsibilities- Perform brief, evidence-based virtual individual and/or group counseling for low to moderate acuity patients with acute mental health conditions in accordance with the military health system model of behavioral health care.
- Develop, monitor, and document comprehensive treatment plans to restore and rehabilitate patients with personal, emotional, and/or mental illnesses.
- Exercise clinical judgment in licensure area and proactively support behavioral health service line per policy and procedures.
- Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills, especially in case formulation and presentation.
- Communicate TRICARE benefits and requirements to beneficiaries, maintain convenience file, outpatient and inpatient records, and case summaries.
- Recommend hospitalization or assess fitness for duty; complete Active Duty Profiles, Medical Evaluation Board (MEB), Military Occupation/Mental Status Evaluations (MSE), and other administrative processes per regulations.
- Attend staff meetings for case discussion, continuing education, quality improvement, and safety.
- Provide clinical psychotherapy, diagnostics, and treatment planning for acute disorders, including complex cases such as psychosis, organic brain syndrome, substance abuse/addictions, and triage patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals on multifaceted cases.
- Maintain quality assurance, provide assessments, and prepare reports for medical evaluation processes.
- Ensure timely documentation within 72 business hours for low to moderate safety risk patients; follow SOP duty limitations and safety protocols.
- Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.
D.) from an APA-accredited university or professional school. - APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship in professional psychology.
- Postgraduate clinical psychologist experience using virtual platforms for at least two years; preferred MHS experience.
- Active, unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology in the U.S. and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to meet credentialing and clinical privilege requirements.
- Military environment experience preferred.
- Prolonged sitting at a desk and computer use.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
This position is fully remote anywhere in the U.S., with a required two‑week training period in San Antonio, TX.
