Regional Corporate Coding Supervisor - Remote (US)
Reporting to the Corporate Coding Director, the Regional Corporate Coding Supervisor will supervise coding, data abstraction and related activities. The role ensures accurate and timely coding of records in accordance with Tenet Health policies and procedures, manages workflow for coding and abstracting, and provides direction for coding activities and productivity standards needed to reach unbilled targets at all hospitals in the region.
The position supports the coding quality improvement process both at the regional and corporate levels and reports to the Tenet corporate office in Texas.
- Comprehensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS coding classification systems.
- Analytical ability to prepare various reports and records.
- Interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of department personnel, other departments, physicians, and external stakeholders.
- Above‑average general office and computer skills.
- Associate degree in Health Information Management (HIM) or related field.
- RHIT certification.
- 5+ years of coding experience.
- Experience managing large teams and driving process improvement at the corporate level in a complex healthcare organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in HIM or related field.
- RHIA certification.
- 2+ years of leadership experience.
- Annual salary: $66,768 – $106,704 (dependent on location, qualifications, and experience).
