Overview
Dietician for Adult IDD clients in Texas
We are looking for a registered dietitian who will apply nutrition knowledge to support adults with intellectual and/or physical disabilities and collaborate with their caregivers or guardians. Our goal is to improve clients health and well-being through nutrition assessment, medical nutrition therapy, and counseling.
Responsibilities- Provide high quality therapy in the client s home or online and communicate with families about therapy sessions
- Communicate weekly with families about goals and progress, and monthly with case managers as needed
- Demonstrate adaptability and teamwork
- Submit paperwork within a 24-hour timeline
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records in accordance with HIPAA, state, and federal regulations
- Valid Texas-issued Dietitian license (Registered Dietitian)
- Experience or comfort working with adults in home or non-clinic settings; ability to provide teletherapy
- Strong communication skills with families and case managers
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice
