We have immediate openings for Resident in Counseling and LPC therapists:

Offer guaranteed pay for the initial 4 weeks as you ramp your caseload.

Provide Clinical supervision by VA state-licensed LPC at no cost to you.

Ability to provide different types of therapy (individual, couples, play, etc).

We have a wide variety of patients for great exposure to new clinical experiences.

Opportunities for individual, family, and couples therapy services as well as Telehealth.

• Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create and implement a treatment plan, and complete ongoing clinical documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and clinical case notes according to company policy.
• Maintain a caseload of 25 client sessions seen per week.
• Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community.
• Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals.
• Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed.
• Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and training.
• Other stuff we probably forgot to add but just as meaningful and important to your role ;)

• Candidates are required to have at least a master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university.
• Required to be a licensed mental health professional or have Resident in Counseling in the state of Virginia.
• Experience with children, adolescents, and teens.
• Experience with completing psychosocial assessments, treatment plans and clinical case notes.
• Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base.
• Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
• Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner.
• Adept at learning and navigating Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• If planning to engage in tele-health from home, having a home office that is professional, private, and HIPAA-compliant.

• Prefer EMDR experience.
• Prefer experience with children, adolescents, and teens.
• Preferred experience with couples and families.
• Ideal candidates will have a general knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing.
