**** Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is seeking an experienced Trauma Registrar for our ED Trauma Department.
**** Shift:
** Full Time, 40hrs, Days

* Job Description:

** Prepares spreadsheets, reports, lists, and matrixes for use in operations of department. Reviews confidential, statistical data for accuracy and safeguards all confidential facts and figures at all times.
** Education
* ** HS Diploma required, graduate of a HIM program
** highly preferred
**** Certification/Licensure**
* ** CSTR or CAISS
** certification preferred - (expectation to acquire this cert within 3yrs)
** Experience
* ** HIM trained, trauma registrar experience.
* Experience with Epic and ICD Coding.
* Knowledge of medical terminology and Anatomy and Physiology.
* 3yrs relevant experience required..
