What You’ll Be Doing

You will complete the Wheels of Change and field training to become a certified FCT and FCT-R Practitioner. The FCT Practitioner will provide in-home treatment with the intent to keep families together, based on the program’s model. You will support families with members who are on their recovery journey by participating in a team with a Peer Recovery Specialist to support family members in working toward recovery and maintaining their family in the home.

Hybrid Role, 20% Remote Work.

Your Main Priorities

While additional responsibilities are likely to arise on the job, you will primarily:

  • Work with clients and their family members and caregivers to identify opportunities and goals, develop a treatment plan, and assist in achieving desired outcomes.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, family members and caregivers, and identify referring or collateral professionals and agencies.
  • Collaborate with collateral contacts as needed.
  • Provide two 2-hour treatment sessions per week with the appropriate individuals.
  • Flexible in providing services according to the client’s needs.
  • Maintains client records accurately, completes documentation requirements timely.
Skills & Abilities
  • Master’s degree in social work or related field required.
  • License eligible (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LICSW, etc.) required, licensure preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role required; experience with trauma-informed treatment and substance use treatment a plus.
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking and time-management skills.
  • Basic computer skills required; knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
  • Ability to communicate and effectively interact with a diverse population.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Collaboration and teamwork.
  • Must authorize Child & Family to complete a motor vehicle records check.
  • Must have valid driver's license, auto insurance, and car registration.
  • The ideal candidate will be required to meet all background checks and medical clearances required for the position.
Physical Requirements

Direct Service Staff:

This position requires time sitting, standing, walking, carrying and lifting up to 25lbs. This role also requires operating desktop, laptop and/or cell phone, and communicating with colleagues.
