Position Title
Regional Authorization and Person-Centered Recovery Plan Specialists - R.C. / G.H.
- East Texas Behavioral Healthcare Network (ETBHN) - Contract/Remote
General Description
ETBHN is hiring contract, full-time, and part-time Regional Authorization and Person-Centered Recovery Plan (PCRP) Specialists to join our Regional Authorization Program. These remote positions play a vital role in ensuring timely authorizations of clinical services and Level of Care for Center(s) served by ETBHN. The Specialists will also support the implementation and oversight of Person-Centered Recovery Plans for mental health programs, ensuring compliance, quality, and a client‑focused approach.
Education
Required:
Master's degree in the Human Services field (e.g., Counseling, Social Work, Psychology).
Experience
Required:
Minimum of five (3) years of relevant experience in mental health or behavioral healthcare. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and related computer systems.
Licenses/Certifications
Required:
Valid Texas Driver's License.
Required:
Current licensures such as LPC, LMSW-ACP
, or equivalent qualifying LPHA credential.
Key Responsibilities
- Authorize clinical services and Level of Care online for multiple centers within the ETBHN network.
- Know and follow the Texas Resilience and Recovery Utilization Management Guidelines and Manuals.
- Collaborate with Center staff to ensure accurate and complete documentation supporting authorizations.
- Review, approve, and support the development, implementation, and monitoring of Person-Centered Recovery Plans (PCRPs) for mental health services to ensure compliance and quality standards are met.
- Utilize multiple software systems to access and manage client and service data.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable standards, regulations, and ETBHN policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and uphold the highest standards of professional ethics.
Physical Requirements
Required:
Must possess visual and auditory acuity sufficient for typing, computer use, and communication.
Hours
Full-time:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Part-time:
Monday-Friday, scheduled as needed between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
$25.00 per hour
