Compensation & Benefits

Base pay: $75,000–$85,000 per year.

Schedule:
Monday‑Friday, 8 AM – 8 PM PST; occasional weekends

Location:
Various sites in Sacramento County, hybrid (in‑home & remote)

Position Summary

The BCBA will serve as a Qualified Autism Service Professional, providing clinical supervision and oversight of ABA programs. Responsibilities include treatment planning, data analysis, staff supervision, and family consultation.

Essential Functions
  • Design, develop, and implement ABA programs for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or delays.
  • Collaborate with families and professionals to tailor ABA interventions to each client’s needs.
  • Deliver individual and group learning experiences to help clients achieve treatment goals.
  • Supervise and train mid‑level supervisors/BCaBAs and direct care staff on program implementation and progress review.
  • Conduct assessments, write treatment goals, analyze data, and produce progress reports under clinical director supervision.
  • Administer comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments using standardized tools such as VB‑MAPP, ABBLS‑R, and Vineland‑III.
  • Develop and oversee behavioral plans for children, including adaptive skill acquisition.
  • Provide behavioral consultation to families and schools.
  • Support clients in daily routines, stress coping, play/social interactions, functional communication, safety awareness, and self‑help skills.
  • Empower parents, caregivers, and support staff to implement interventions within natural routines.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and staff.
  • Set up and manage ABA session schedules, adjusting for planned and unplanned changes.
  • Meet with families/caregivers weekly (in-clinic or via telehealth) to review progress and consult on treatment plans.
Qualifications
  • Consistency with a weekly schedule; availability in afternoons and evenings.
  • Willingness to travel to client homes within service areas.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation with valid automobile insurance (for in-person/hybrid work).
  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field.
  • BCBA certification.
