Job Responsibilities- Represent the Clinical Surveillance & Training (CST) team on studies or programs, interacting with functional groups, vendors, license holders, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and sponsors. May serve as a Project Lead in CST stand‑alone projects and as a Functional Lead in full scope or multiple protocol projects.
- Manage CST deliverables for scoped services vendors (e.g., Rater Training vendors), scale license holders, and/or KOLs, including:
- License procurement, scale translation requirements, and paper scale worksheet development.
- Creation of CST service‑related documentation and templates, including development and testing of the CST Study Training and Engagement Portal (STEP) for study‑specific Rater Training needs.
- Ensuring quality, timely delivery and implementation of CST services.
- Develop and maintain the study‑specific CST plan in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).
- Contribute to relevant functional project plans to ensure alignment with the CST plan.
- Provide regular status updates to internal and sponsor project teams regarding CST scoped services, including risks such as timeline delays, and serve as the central point of contact for CST‑related project issues.
- Create and maintain CST metric reports for scoped services for client delivery.
- Attend Trusted Process, internal, and sponsor meetings as a lead CST representative to discuss strategy, address agenda topics, and provide status reports.
- Maintain CST project documentation in the Trial Master File (TMF) accurately and completely.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation plans as required.
- Participate in sponsor, internal, or agency audits and inspections.
- Manage CST scope, including identification of out‑of‑scope activities, revenue recognition, invoice management, and KOL contract management; possibly attend internal financial review meetings.
- Plan, manage, and request CST resources (e.g., CST Project Specialist, CST Clinical Scientist, CST Assessment Scientist) and provide resource updates for assigned projects.
- Train and mentor internal team members.

Salary Range$79,800 – $139,600 per year.
SummaryProvides customer‑focused management of Clinical Surveillance & Training (CST) scoped services to support scientific integrity and data quality in clinical trials. Duties include liaising with customers, vendors, and investigative sites to manage projects from start‑up to final deliverables. Upon displaying proficiency, a CST Project Manager II may advance to the CST Sr. Project Manager level.
