Job DescriptionFirst Stop Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian who is detail oriented and has a passion for a holistic and personalized approach to wellness. In this role, you will provide high quality nutrition education and coaching to help patients positively impact their overall wellness, collaborate with a multi‑disciplinary team, and contribute to clinical operations. You will report directly to the Director of Health Coaching.
The ideal candidate is passionate about advancing the company’s Quadruple Aim: enhancing patient care experiences, improving population health outcomes, reducing costs, and bolstering clinician well‑being. They are also enthusiastic, service‑oriented, curious, and collaborative.
Schedule- 15–20 hours per week
- Schedule needs to be consistent weekly
- Maintain current knowledge of evidence‑based nutrition concepts related to lifestyle behavior change for weight management, chronic health conditions, sports nutrition, intuitive eating, and family nutrition.
- Content creation and delivery for customer requests such as webinars and speaking engagements.
- Support implementation of new products/technology.
- Ensure outcome collection and analysis.
- Prioritize whole‑person care by collaborating with cross‑disciplinary teams.
- Maintain and improve processes by following standards, policies and procedures, and recommending new approaches.
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR); actively licensed in the state of residence.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field.
- Preference for 5+ years of experience.
- Preference for health coaching certification and experience, as well as specialization in eating disorders.
- Support a roster of patients virtually/telephonically (100% remote from home).
- Utilize established tools and protocols to assess patient health status and identify health risks.
- Document goals, behavioral and clinical outcomes, and administrative details of all registered dietitian interactions using the portal.
- Navigate participants to helpful resources and tools (referrals, health information, etc.) that are made available to you.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of behavior change theories and know how to successfully implement them with individuals and groups.
- Fervor for cultural curiosity and experience engaging and working with people across a wide range of social, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Self‑starter.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, quantitative and analytic skills.
- Flexible and eager to learn new skills.
- Ability to work independently in a deadline‑oriented environment.
- Fluency in basic computer skills including Microsoft 365 and EHR systems.
