Job Summary: The Registered Dietitian is responsible for developing and implementing nutrition services programs, working closely with the interdisciplinary team (IDT). This includes delivering nutrition assessments and counseling, liaising with food and supplement providers, developing menus, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations related to kitchen and meal services.

Scheduled work from home days: 1 or 2 days per week can be worked remotely; the remaining days are onsite.

Essential Job Duties:

• Conduct nutrition assessments to identify the needs, preferences, and goals of participants, and participate in IDT meetings to develop care plans.
• Deliver and document nutrition interventions, including implementing special diets and providing counseling, in accordance with physician orders and care plans.
• Oversee menu planning and meal delivery to meet safety and regulatory standards and ensure correct diet specifications.
• Manage nutrition staff through hiring, training, oversight, and mentoring.
• Guide the enrollment process to ensure timely and effective participant onboarding.

Job Requirements:

• Registered Dietitian with at least four years of experience in a similar setting.
• Current BLS/First Aid certification.
• Reliable transportation.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills, especially with seniors, families, and IDT members.
• Experience with frail or elderly populations preferred.
