This is a full-time, day shift, exempt position. The unit at Providence Portland Medical Center consists of 29 beds and approximately 90 staff members. It is an acute care Medical, Surgical, Telemetry Unit providing care for adult patients with acute and/or chronic medical conditions, including internal medicine, surgical, peritoneal dialysis, and DKA patients. Most patients are admitted with diagnoses such as sepsis, cellulitis, kidney disorders, and multiple co-morbidities.

Job DescriptionThe Nurse Manager of Clinical Operations drives continuous improvement and oversees 24/7 operations of their units. They are responsible for care quality, team development, resource management, and fostering collaborative relationships aligned with Providence’s strategic goals. They lead effective teams in a complex environment, ensuring healing and wellness are prioritized.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Oregon RN License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- 5 years of nursing experience with progressive leadership roles
- Master's Degree in related field
- Formal coursework in management, finance, and administration
- National Certification in relevant clinical expertise
- Management experience
