Economic Policy Analyst
At Vision Recruitment Consultancy Limited, we specialise in connecting businesses with world‑class researchers who can decode the impact of policy, economics, and geopolitics on global markets. Founded in 2024, our firm was built on the belief that companies make better strategic decisions when they have access to the same depth of analysis and foresight as leading institutions.
We work at the intersection of policy and commerce, sourcing talent from top universities, think tanks, international organisations, and advisory firms. By bridging corporate needs with academic and policy expertise, we help clients anticipate risks, uncover opportunities, and thrive in complex environments.
Role OverviewWe are seeking an Economic Policy Analyst to join our client’s research team. The ideal candidate will have first‑hand exposure to U.S. policy or economic decision‑making environments — through government service, think‑tank research, consulting, or academia — and the ability to translate that knowledge into clear, forward‑looking analysis.
You will assess how shifts in U.S. domestic and foreign policy influence global markets, trade and political risk. Drawing on publicly available sources, professional expertise and informed perspectives from your prior work, you will deliver high‑quality insights that help businesses anticipate challenges and seize opportunities. This is a fully remote role open to applicants worldwide.

- The capacity to connect complex political and economic developments to concrete business risks and opportunities, using both quantitative tools and qualitative judgment.
- First‑hand exposure to policy environments (e.g., government, think tanks, international institutions or consultancies) that shapes a nuanced view of how decisions are really made.
- The ability to distill complex material into concise, actionable insights for non‑technical audiences, both in writing and presentations.
- A forward‑looking mindset that not only reacts to policy changes but anticipates emerging trends and challenges.
- A professional approach that respects confidentiality, balances evidence with judgment and maintains client trust.
