What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Support the administration of federal and state grants awarded to the Agency and community-based grant recipients
  • Analyze program service needs and coordinate the preparation of grant and contract documents
  • Develop narrative reports and provide information to funding sources and agency staff
  • Assist with performance and compliance monitoring for assigned grants and contracts
  • Conduct outreach and engagement activities to inform the community about available grant funds
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Knowledge of grant and contract administration principles and federal/state grant laws
  • Skills in oral and written communication, including proposals and grant writing
  • Ability to interpret and analyze complex legislation and financial documents
  • Experience managing multiple tasks in a timely and accurate manner
  • Possession of a valid state-issued driver's license
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Previous experience in grant and contract life cycles, including proposal writing
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience with the military or veteran population, either through service or employment
  • Familiarity with grant application procedures and reporting requirements
