About the roleAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Council's Environmental Protection Team following a full team restructure. This role is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Environmental Health Officer or an experienced Environmental Protection Officer. We are looking for innovative, enthusiastic and confident individuals with drive and determination. The role will be both office and home based and will work across the whole of North Northamptonshire.
Whatwill you be doing?
You will be working within the busy Environmental Protection Team and will be responsible for statutory duties related to Statutory Nuisance, Air Quality, Contaminated Land, Environmental Permitting, and planning and licensing consultations. You will manage your own caseload, dealing with complaints, inspections and enforcement.
About YouRequires a BSc or MSc in Environmental Health or a level 5 qualification/HND/Degree preferably in an environmental science related subject along with additional relevant qualifications and extensive experience within the Environmental Protection field.
