About Evergreen Action

Evergreen Action (Evergreen) is leading the fight to put bold climate action at the top of America's agenda. We’re building the ambitious, actionable policy roadmap for an all-out mobilization to defeat climate change—and to create millions of jobs in a thriving, just, and inclusive clean energy future.

Today, Evergreen combines movement partnerships with direct advocacy to deliver the greatest positive impact, as fast as possible. They mix bold policy products with campaign-style communications and shrewd advocacy tactics. And it’s working.

Since Evergreen was founded, they have successfully influenced the U.S. climate policy landscape. They played a pivotal role in the passage and implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), helped set critical federal standards on pollution, and aided in critical state wins like Michigan’s % clean energy standard. Now, under the Trump administration, they are helping states both achieve bold climate progress and defend against attacks on progress, building momentum toward a cross-state climate affordability agenda and renewed climate leadership.
