Senior Director, State Policy & Government Affairs

Purpose and Scope

The Senior Director, State Government Affairs will represent Fresenius Medical Care-North America and its affiliate companies in all public policy, legislative and political matters before state governments in a defined region. Identifies and analyzes proposed legislative and regulatory policy that present significant implications to FMCNA's patients, employees and operations. Works to highlight FMCNA policy positions and raise the visibility of FMCNA initiatives with key external audiences.

Responsible for educating lawmakers, policymakers and key decision makers on issues and positions which improve the quality of and access to care for our patients.

This position will be a home office-based role with up to 40% travel requirements depending on coverage states and external factors.
