Position Overview

The Department of Healthcare and Family Services, Division of Child Support Services (CSS) is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to lead our Statewide Intergovernmental Operations Interstate Unit. This position serves as a working supervisor implementing, interpreting and coordinating policies, procedures and federal regulations for the Statewide Intergovernmental Operations Interstate unit.

The ideal candidate will be professional, possess supervisory experience, and excellent communication skills. The possession of these skills will ensure the candidate is successful in the roles as Interstate Manager.

Essential Functions
  • Subject to management approval, serves as the Interstate Manager by planning, directing, and evaluating the operations of the statewide Interstate Child Support Services (CSS) program for the Bureau of Statewide Intergovernmental Operations within the Division of CSS
  • Serves as a working supervisor
  • Implements and directs management studies
  • Develops and maintains cooperative working relationships with other state, local, and public agencies and with the Attorney General’s office and the legal community
  • Plans and conducts monthly team meetings to discuss policies, procedures, personnel, and other operations and issues
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above
Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college, preferably with courses in business or public administration
