Risk Manager/Analyst, Financial Compliance
The Compliance and Vendor Management Analyst is responsible for performing regulatory compliance and vendor management activities, including compliance monitoring, vendor management documentation, risk assessments, and reporting, in support of the Credit Union’s Compliance Management System (CMS). Performs assigned compliance and vendor management functions under established procedures and oversight.
Principal Accountabilities- Performs assigned regulatory compliance reviews and monitoring activities and documents findings.
- Supports the Vendor Management Program, including onboarding, due diligence, risk assessments, and ongoing monitoring activities.
- Maintains and reviews vendor documentation to support risk-based assessments and compliance with regulatory expectations.
- Assists with regulatory change management activities, including tracking, documentation, and implementation support.
- Tracks, documents, and escalates compliance and vendor-related issues in accordance with established procedures.
- Supports audits, examinations, and regulatory requests by preparing documentation and responses under direction.
- Coordinates with internal departments and external vendors to support compliance and vendor management activities in accordance with established procedures.
- Assists with policy, procedure, and CMS documentation maintenance as assigned.
- Coordinates with internal stakeholders to support compliance and vendor management processes.
- Maintains accurate records and documentation within compliance and vendor management systems.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements with guidance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a regulated environment.
- Professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information.
- Willingness and ability to learn regulatory compliance and vendor management requirements.
- Two or more years of experience in a financial institution, compliance, risk management, vendor management, or a related field, or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of regulatory compliance and vendor management concepts preferred.
- Experience with compliance and vendor management systems (e.g. Ncontracts suite or similar platforms) preferred.
- Professional certifications related to compliance, risk management, or vendor management preferred but not required.
Work is performed in a hybrid office environment, including both on-site and remote work, in accordance with Credit Union policy and business needs. This position requires extended periods of sitting, use of a computer and standard office equipment, and frequent visual concentration. May require occasional overtime, schedule flexibility, or adjusted work hours to meet regulatory deadlines, audits, examinations, or reporting requirements.
