Finance support, Accounts Receivable​/ Collections

Overview

Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Collections Clerk to join our finance team. In this role, you will primarily focus on contacting clients to collect payments and provide excellent customer service. If you have experience in customer service or call center and are comfortable making phone calls, we encourage you to apply!

• Communicate professionally with clients via phone and email to collect payment terms and resolve issues related to past-due accounts.
• Provide clear and accurate updates on the status of accounts.
• Maintain detailed notes on client’s interactions and payment arrangements.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth resolution of overdue accounts.
• De-escalate client concerns on billing matters.
• Data entry of accounts receivable by recording payment transactions.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Preferred:
  Two years of debt collection, phone customer service, or finance experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Comfortable making high-volume calls and payment arrangements.
• Ability to handle challenging conversations professionally.

• Pay Range: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience).
• Hours:
  
  20 to 25 hours per week.
• Schedule:
  
  Flexible but require collection calls to be made between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday.
• Location:
  
  100% Remote.
