MCIM is seeking a Sr. Accounting Manager to support the financial reporting and accounting operations of a fast-growing SaaS company in the mission-critical infrastructure space.

Reporting to the VP of Finance
, this role will play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting the company’s monthly close and audit processes.

The ideal candidate will bring experience working in SaaS or technology environments
, preferably within private-equity backed companies
, and will be comfortable operating in a fast-moving, high-growth organization.

This position is fully remote within the United States and offers the opportunity to contribute to the financial foundation of a rapidly scaling company while helping build and mature accounting processes over time.

• Manage key aspects of the monthly financial close process to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Prepare and review GAAP-compliant financial statements and supporting schedules
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain detailed documentation supporting financial records
• Partner with Finance leadership to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting

• Oversee and support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Assist with cash management and treasury activities
• Maintain strong accounting controls and ensure adherence to internal financial policies
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency within accounting workflows

• Utilize accounting and financial systems to support reporting and operational accuracy, including:
• Quick Books
• Flo Qast (or similar close management tools)
• Ramp or similar expense management tools
• or comparable AP platforms
• Leverage Excel to analyze financial data and support reporting processes

• Assist with external audits and financial reviews
  , working with external auditors to provide documentation and support
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal control requirements
• Support continued development of strong financial processes as the company grows

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA preferred
• 6+ years of accounting experience, ideally within SaaS or technology companies
• Experience working in private equity or venture-backed environments preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP financial reporting and accounting best practices
• Experience managing or participating in monthly financial close processes
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems such as Quick Books
• Experience working with close management and financial automation tools (Flo Qast, Blackline, Numeric, etc.)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
