Accounts Assistant

We are working in partnership with a growing recruitment firm based in Central London who are on the search for an Accounts Assistant on a full-time permanent basis. The company operate to a hybrid working model with Mondays and Fridays working from home. This role is suitable for an experienced Accounts Assistant that is actively studying or a recent university graduate with no prior experience with the ambition to pursue a career in finance.

On offer is a salary between £30,000-£35,000 per annum plus study support and various other benefits.

You will support the Finance Manager and CFO in delivering accurate, timely, and commercially focused financial operations across the Group and their offices in both London and New York. You will play a key role in billing, credit control, balance sheet integrity, and financial administration, ensuring robust processes and strong financial governance while supporting the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day to day support to the Finance Manager and CFO
• Administration of all billing, forecasting and credit control of the Interim Practice
• Raising all group invoices in multiple currencies
• Responsible for Credit Control for the group including Interim
• Reconciling the balance sheets for all entities.
• Ad hoc projects as required.
• This role will be ever evolving.
• Experience operating at a similar level working for a recruitment or professional services business would be preferrable, but not essential. If you have no prior experience in finance, you must be a recent university graduate with strong academics
• Ideally, you will have received exemptions from ACCA or actively studying towards the formal ACCA qualification
• You must be bright, eager to learn and have a strong personality to succeed in a hungry sales environment
