Technical Tax Consultant training and technical support provider wide remote

Overview

Our client is a leading provider of technical support services to the accountancy profession. They seek a UK-qualified experienced tax professional to join their technical team, which provides tax advice and support to firms ranging from sole practitioners to large accountancy firms.

• Group reorganisations to include demergers, hive-ups/downs and MBOs
• Loan relationships and intangibles asset regime
• Substantial shareholding exemption
• Business Asset Disposal Relief
• Corporation tax losses, associated companies and QIPs
• Company purchase of own shares
• Tax clearances
• Share schemes e.g. EMI
• Experience of preparing share valuations
• UK aspects of international tax to include corporate tax residency and corporate interest restriction, and, at a high level only, transfer pricing, CFCs and BEPs

This role would suit a corporate tax specialist (ACA, ICAS, CTA or similar) with proven experience of OMB client work and a clear interest in technical work.

The role can be worked remotely with occasional travel within the UK. 4 day week is also considered.
