Valuations​/M&A manager

Minerva Valuations Inc. is a mid-market advisory firm specializing in business valuations, acquisitions, divestitures, litigation support, and shareholder value advisory services. Our firm provides valuation services for succession and estate planning, fairness opinions, intellectual property and intangible assets, arbitration and mediation, purchase price allocations, and corporate acquisitions. Our clients include business owners, accountants, lawyers, bankers, estate practitioners, and investors across various industries.

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Valuations Manager located in Toronto, ON, with some work from home acceptable. The Valuations Manager will be responsible for conducting business valuations, performing due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, providing litigation support (i.e., family law, shareholder dispute, and damage quantifications), and assisting with financial reporting valuations. Experience managing deliverables through different time zones a positive.

We are open to accepting applicants with a book of business for higher level roles. The applicant must have business valuations experience in Canada/US, and either have a CBV or similar designation.

• Strong Analytical Skills and proficiency in Finance and Accounting
• Experience in a litigation support capacity
• Experience with Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and conducting due diligence
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Relevant designations such as CBV, CFA, CPA, or ASA are a must
• Minimum 5+ experience in the valuation industry
• Senior Manager or Director types applying are required to have a book of business
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
