What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Test and validate key values to ensure seamless integration with life insurance support systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance administrative and illustration systems
  • Manage life support flow, including rate changes and repricing
  • Code complex life insurance calculations and features within proprietary applications
  • Conduct analysis of risks for various lines of business and assist with financial reporting
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a similar field requiring modeling and quantitative analysis
  • Minimum of two to four years of financial, actuarial, or relevant experience
  • Technical skills:
    Proficiency in , SQL, and SSIS packages
  • Understanding of actuarial science and/or data science
  • General knowledge of finance or actuarial business functions and statistical methods of analysis
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
  • Familiarity with life insurance products
  • Ability to build strong business partnerships within the actuarial department and with IT and Operations
  • Completion of several actuarial exams or relevant certifications
  • Experience in developing and implementing new programs or modifications of existing applications
