Tax Manager

This is a full-time in office role as a Tax Manager at Sherif Y. Iskander, CPA, PA. Based in Goldsboro, NC, this role offers flexibility with the opportunity for some work from home. The Tax Manager will oversee tax compliance, planning, and preparation for a diverse portfolio of clients. Responsibilities include staying updated on tax law changes, providing strategic tax advice, and ensuring adherence to all federal and state regulations.

The role requires collaboration with team members and providing guidance to junior staff.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Tax Preparation and Tax Compliance to ensure accurate and timely filing for clients.
• Solid knowledge of Tax Planning and Tax Law to develop strategic, compliant tax-saving opportunities for clients.
• Comprehensive understanding of general Tax principles and practices relevant to federal and state regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in managing client relationships and providing guidance to team members.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in tax software and tools; knowledge of industry-specific software is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
