Senior Recruitment Consultant

Our UK-based client is a specialist consultancy and recruitment group operating exclusively within regulated financial services. With established operations in the UK and the Middle East, they support firms working in high-scrutiny environments across Compliance, Risk Management, Financial Crime, Data Protection and senior leadership.

They are now looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant – Financial Services to deliver high-quality, revenue-generating recruitment services across the UK and UAE markets. This role will focus on sourcing, engaging, and placing senior and specialist professionals within regulated financial services environments, while developing long-term client relationships and driving recruitment revenue.

This is a remote position open to candidates living anywhere in South Africa

Duties & Responsibilities Manage and develop recruitment relationships with financial services clients across the UK and UAEDeliver full 360° recruitment services, including candidate sourcing, screening, client briefings, interview coordination, offer management and placements

Source, qualify and engage senior-level and specialist candidates within regulated financial services environments

Proactively conduct business development conversations with new and existing clients

Build and maintain strong talent pipelines using Linked In, CRM systems and internal databases

Maintain a solid understanding of UK and UAE financial services markets, regulatory frameworks and hiring trends

Provide regular reporting on recruitment activity, pipelines and revenue performance

Represent the business professionally in all client and candidate interactions

Skills, Experience & Requirements Minimum 5 years’ experience as a recruitment consultant, ideally within financial services

Proven track record of successful billings in UK and/or international markets

Demonstrable experience recruiting within regulated environments (e.g. banking, wealth management, insurance, payments, fintech, compliance, risk, financial crime)
Experience managing senior and specialist-level hires

Strong commercial acumen with confidence engaging senior stakeholders

Ability to work independently, manage priorities and deliver results with minimal supervision

Relevant tertiary qualification preferred

Laptop/PC, headset, webcam and reliable internet connection required

Working hours:

9:00am – 5:30pm UK time (with flexibility for UAE time zone)
