This role is on a hybrid schedule, a few days in Detroit, MI office weekly with some remote work.

The Analyst will support the Advantage Finance and Accounting Release Management & Delivery team. The position will be responsible for testing of future Alfa releases, defects, deferred items, and future projects.

• Gather accounting requirements and write accounting test cases
• Validation of accounting for defects, workarounds, and new requirements (reviewing test results to ensure system is behaving as expected)
• Collaborate as part of a team to resolve and troubleshoot issues
• Research general ledger transactions in Workday and various subsystems including ALFA
• Perform analyses using Excel, Power
  
  BI, SQL and COGNOS
• Partner with Business Unit personnel to understand various auto finance transactions
• Document processes and findings
• Support and assist the Advantage Finance & Accounting team on various projects as needed

• 1 year of experience
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

• 1+ year of Accounting or Finance experience
• BS/BBA degree in Accounting/Finance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient MS Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)
• Cognos, Power
  
  BI, and/or SQL experience
• Auto Finance industry experience
• Strong attention to detail balanced with knowing the right level necessary to deliver on requirements
• Energetic and inquisitive, quick learner, takes initiative, team player and able to multi task
• Communicate effectively, both written and verbal
• Ability to organize data, perform independent analysis, provide and articulate explanations to management
