Position Summary
The Grants Closure Consultant is a highly organized, meticulous, and experienced to manage a portfolio of over 20 subgrantees. The Grants Closure Consultant will be the primary point of contact for our sub-grantees, ensuring the smooth execution of their projects, compliance with financial and programmatic requirements, and the production of high-quality donor and impact reports.
This role requires strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to achieving impactful results through our partners.
1. Subgrantee Implementation Support and Closeout- Provide technical and logistical assistance to subgrantees to ensure the successful and timely finalization of project implementation activities.
- Monitor subgrantees' progress against approved work plans, identifying potential roadblocks and proactively collaborating with partners to develop effective solutions.
- Lead the subgrant closeout process, ensuring all contractual obligations are met, final reports are submitted, and all documentation is archived in compliance with organizational and donor requirements.
- Ensure subgrantees provide accurate, timely, and complete finance and program reports in accordance with subgrant agreements and donor guidelines.
- Review and verify subgrantees' financial documentation, working closely with them to reconcile expenditures and address any discrepancies.
- Conduct virtual check-ins to verify reported activities and expenditures, and support on reporting standards as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the Finance Department to efficiently collect and consolidate all relevant financial and programmatic data from the portfolio of subgrantees.
- Compile, analyze, and synthesize this collected data to produce comprehensive, accurate, and high-quality donor reports that meet all contractual obligations and deadlines.
- Act as the central liaison between subgrantees, the organization's finance team, and the program leadership to streamline data flow and reporting processes.
Education
:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Development, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in grants management, preferably with significant experience managing a high volume of subgrantees (20+).
