FIU Fraud Detection Analyst; Remote EST

• Analyze internal accounts for fraudulent or suspicious activity using automated surveillance systems
• Conduct internal investigations and research to identify fraudulent transactions and mitigate risk
• Interview witnesses/suspects and document findings for case management
• Collaborate with internal management and Info Sec department to address vulnerabilities and improve processes
• Document all findings in a centralized case management system to ensure compliance with legal requirements

• Minimum 5 years of advanced experience in a Fraud and/or BSA/AML related position in a financial institution
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Certifications:
  
  CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) and/or CAFP (Certified AML and Fraud Professional) required or willingness to obtain within two years
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, detail-oriented with proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong research and problem resolution skills

• Significant experience with completing suspicious activity reports
• Familiarity with forensic research technologies and bank systems
• Previous experience in customer service and ability to work with all levels of employees
• Additional training in relevant software such as Verafin or Adobe
