We have an exciting opportunity for someone to complete the day-to‑day activities of our credit union’s Collections department. This includes delinquency and recovery as well as other related administrative duties.

What You’ll DoThe Collections Officer enriches member lives by providing, timely and accurate information and exemplary service to members as well as offering credit solutions to solve their financial needs. In addition, this role mitigates the risk for loss by providing dedicated management of SCCU’s delinquent accounts and appropriate advisory services to the members.
What Does the Ideal Candidate Bring?The preferred candidate has completed one to two years of post‑secondary education in a general business program, plus two to five years’ experience in lending or collections. Diverse collections experience considered an asset. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered as well as other relevant working experience.
This position requires an individual with strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to work in partnership with respect to other credit union functions. The incumbent will be self‑motivated and have excellent administrative, time management, problem‑solving and prioritizing skills.
