Accounting Associate/Staff Accountant needed for a well-established financial services company based in Orlando. Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 per year.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
  • Conduct regular ledger reconciliations and rectify any discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Collaborate with the finance team on budget analysis, cash flow forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal tax regulations.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary information and reports.
  • Implement and improve financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and accounting software.
    • Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
  • Exceptional numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is an advantage.
