JSS Tax are hiring for an International Tax Manager for a leading multinational engineering company.

The role is based out of their office near Watford, but supports 2 or 3 days per week remote working.

It's a permanent position that can be considered on either a full-time or part-time basis.

It comes with a salary in the region of £80k-£105k plus 15% bonus and a great benefits package.

Working as part of a small, high-calibre in-house tax function, the International Tax Manager will take on a varied role supporting the group's tax affairs across Europe, USA and Asia.

The role has a really nice mix of advisory, planning, business partnering, forecasting & reporting and project work.

Responsibilities include:

  • International tax matters across the global group, including operational cross-border transactions and structuring.
  • Overseeing transfer pricing policy development, implementation and documentation compliance (in conjunction with external advisors).
  • Involvement with tax aspects of M&A activity.
  • Designing and managing the implementation of tax efficiency planning, group and treasury tax initiatives.
  • Managing the group’s internal tax forecasting cycle, overseeing the year end / interim tax consolidation and reporting processes
  • Managing central tax filings including BEPs Pillar 2 and Country by Country Reporting (CbCR).
  • Maintaining the tax risks register and UTP provisioning.
  • Supporting the on IFRS tax reporting matters.

The business is looking for a qualified individual (ACA / CTA / ICAS / ACCA etc) with strong international corporate tax experience gained from working in a large accounting firm or from a similar in-house role.

Experience working with PLCs and listed companies is preferred, but not mandatory.

The role requires someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills due to the large amount of advisory and business partnering work.
