Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mortgage Loan Originator, based in Kirkland, WA, with partial opportunities to work from home. The Mortgage Loan Originator will be responsible for helping clients by guiding them through the loan application process, evaluating their financial information, and ensuring compliance with lending policies. Responsibilities include educating clients about loan products, assisting with prequalification, collaborating with underwriters and lenders, and maintaining strong client relationships to facilitate an exceptional lending experience.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Loan Origination and Mortgage Lending to guide clients in selecting appropriate loan products
  • Experience and knowledge in Underwriting and Loan Processes to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Familiarity with Loans and Finance to evaluate financial documents and produce sound recommendations
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
  • Relevant licensure and compliance knowledge based on the state requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
  • Prior experience in the mortgage industry is highly valued
