This Finance Business Partner role sits within a project-based environment and works closely with operational leaders to provide visibility of financial performance across projects and service activities.

The position has a strong focus on financial analysis and management accounting, consolidating operational financial data and analysing performance against budgets. The role will help translate financial information into practical insight so leaders across the business can better understand performance drivers and make informed decisions.

The role is less focused on producing the numbers and more focused on helping the business understand what the numbers are telling them.

This organisation operates across multiple regions and continues to experience steady growth. With projects running across a number of operational areas, the finance team plays a key role in providing visibility of financial performance and supporting decision making across the business.

• Partner with project and operational leaders to provide financial visibility across projects and activities
• Analyse operational performance and monitor results against budgets
• Consolidate financial analysis prepared across business units
• Identify trends and key performance drivers to support decision making
• Support monthly reporting cycles and performance analysis
• Contribute to improving reporting capability through ERP and BI tools

• CA / CPA qualified (or equivalent)
• Background in management accounting, financial analysis or commercial finance
• Experience supporting operational stakeholders with financial insight and performance reporting
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret large data sets and identify trends
• Advanced Excel skills with experience analysing complex financial information
• Experience working with ERP systems and business intelligence reporting tools

Experience working in project-based environments will be highly regarded.
