• Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements
• Collaborate with the FP&A Lead to develop the annual budget and financial forecasts
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, SEC filing requirements, and other regulatory standards
• Design, implement, and monitor effective internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 8+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on financial reporting and management
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role managing finance and accounting teams
• Proven track record of managing financial operations in complex business environments
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced financial analysis tools

• Experience with CostPoint or similar project-based accounting systems
• CPA certification or equivalent professional qualification
• Knowledge of government contracting regulations and compliance (DCAA, FAR, etc.)
• Experience managing finances in a product-based company or complex business model
