Interim Accounting Manager

Interim Senior Accountant

Our client, a cloud technology company, is seeking an Interim Senior Accountant to support their finance team during a critical growth phase.

The position is fully remote and has an expected duration of 3 months with potential extension.

• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders to streamline payroll and procurement processes
• Support system enhancements and process improvements, including workflow optimizations
• Improve accounting processes to shorten close timelines and increase automation and scalability
• Support monthly financial close, including reconciliations, variance analysis, and management reporting
• Assist with audit preparation, compliance requirements, and tax filings
• Own Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, including invoice coding, approval workflows, vendor payments, and compliance with financial controls
• Maintain strong internal controls and proactively identify risks in payment cycles

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 6+ years of accounting experience
• Tech industry experience preferred, ideally within a late-stage VC-backed startup
• Hands‑on experience with payroll and P2P process improvements
• Strong systems and Excel skills; experience with Rippling and Ramp required
