Senior Accountant, Private Equity & Alternative Investments

This is a contract, hybrid role for a Senior Accountant specializing in Private Equity & Alternative Investments. The role is based in Miami, FL, with flexibility for partial remote work. The primary responsibilities include overseeing financial reporting, managing complex accounting issues, preparing fund statements, reconciling accounts, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements specific to private equity and alternative investments. Collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timely reporting is a key component of the role.

• Proficiency in financial reporting, fund accounting, and reconciliation processes within the private equity and alternative investments domain
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory compliance frameworks
• Experience with accounting software and tools; proficiency in MS Excel is required
• Analytical and detail-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet stringent deadlines, and adapt to a hybrid work environment
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and clients
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred
• Experience in private equity, hedge funds, or alternative investments is strongly preferred
