The Finance Director is responsible for overseeing the financial health and strategic financial management of the organization. This role ensures sound financial planning, robust financial controls, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Job RequirementsKnowledge & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Big 4 background is preferred
- Minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) – CPA preferred
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, and tax regulations
- Experience in multi‑country financial management
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., SAP is preferable)

- Develop and execute the financial strategy of the group, to support the company’s goals in the competitive travel retail industry.
- Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to the executive team to drive sustainable growth and profitability.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling processes to ensure accurate financial planning and robust decision making.
- Analyse market trends, financial performance, and key metrics to identify opportunities and risks, while developing and maintaining KPIs to manage company performance.
- Manage all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, treasury, tax and cash flow management.
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local GAAP and Group policies.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure good financial processes with operational functionality.
- Drive the adoption of modern financial tools and systems to enhance efficiency in RIM.
