The organization is experiencing significant growth, including multiple mergers and acquisitions annually and the opening of new facilities worldwide. This role is based in their Toronto (Yorkdale) offices.

Your New Role We are seeking a Senior Tax &pliance Officer to join their Family Office team in Toronto, ON. Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll work alongside a team of four tax professionals in a newly created position due to organizational growth.

This role offers exposure to Canadian and multi-jurisdictional taxpliance, planning, and M&A activities. You’ll manage taxpliance for high-net-worth individuals, corporations, and partnerships, oversee external service providers, and collaborate on strategic tax planning for mergers, acquisitions, and business reorganizations. This is a full-time, on-site role (with 10 work-from-home days per year) offering flexible hours (e.g., 7–3, 8–4, or 10–6).What You’ll Need to Succeed

CPA designation

6–7 years of progressive tax experience in public accounting or industry

Strong Excel and Visio skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellentmunication and client service skills

Familiarity with Canadian tax research tools and tax software

Exposure to U.S. tax rules is an asset

Proven experience advising individuals and corporations on tax issues
