Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Securities Administration Services Analyst 2 to handle bond and loan calculations extracted from extensive legal documents and upload them into a database. The role involves managing substantial loan portfolios exceeding $300 million, with some loans surpassing $1 billion. The analyst will oversee transactions, balance daily cash, and report on monthly and quarterly cash positions for both loan holders and investors.

A key responsibility includes ensuring the accuracy of client data extracted from documents.

• Extract bond and loan calculations from large legal documents.
• Upload data into an Access-like database.
• Manage large loan portfolios, some exceeding $1 billion.
• Oversee transactions and balance daily cash.
• Report monthly and quarterly cash positions for loan holders and investors.
• Ensure accuracy of client data from documents.

• 1+ year of experience in financial service, accounting, or analytical analysis; or a BS/BA degree or higher in Math, Finance, Business, Economics, or related discipline.
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, sorting, formulas, and functions.

• Basic knowledge of Access.
• Experience in an analytical role or at a bank is advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, or Statistics.

The role offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for both in‑office training and remote work. You will work within a department of approximately 40 colleagues and collaborate on deals with Senior Analysts and Account Managers. The position is part of a growing team within one of the most profitable business lines, offering opportunities for career advancement. Successful permanent candidates will receive a raise and have opportunities to progress to Analyst 3 and eventually Analyst 4 levels.

The work environment is supportive, with a history of supervisors advancing through the analyst ranks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX 77007.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
