• Support establishment of awards in grant administration and financial systems, ensuring compliance with federal and sponsor guidelines
• Identify and forecast spending trends, clear overdrafts, re-budget when necessary, and perform financial reconciliations
• Manage post-award regulatory compliance activities, including sub-award monitoring and cost transfer reviews
• Execute sponsored financial management transactions, including preparing invoices and submitting financial reports
• Coordinate sponsor communications and requests for prior approval, including re-budgeting and no-cost extensions

• U.S. work authorization required
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in research administration
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially strong skills in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with high attention to detail

• Demonstrated expertise in process change to achieve research administration best practices
• Experience working with payment portals such as PMS, ACMS, iRAPT, and other sponsored research payment systems
