• Supervise day-to-day activities related to loan origination functions for a team of Mortgage Loan Originators
• Ensure timely procurement of documents required for processing, underwriting, and closing
• Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources such as real estate brokers and builders
• Actively participate in mortgage banking and realtor trade associations to stay informed on industry trends
• Interview, recruit, and develop new talent while promoting employee engagement and retention

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Typically two or more years of relevant experience
• National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration required
• Strong knowledge of mortgage products/services, operations, and current market trends
• Ability to analyze financial information with attention to detail

• Established referral base within the assigned market
• 2 years of mortgage loan origination experience with proven results
• Good understanding of pricing and underwriting requirements of various mortgage insurance companies
• Well-developed customer service and relationship management skills
• Familiarity with local, state, and national laws related to mortgage lending
