Job Details Responsibilities
Managing the month‑end close process, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.Preparing and presenting financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Providing audit support, liaising with internal and external auditors to ensure all financial information is accurate and compliant with GAAP.Performing account reconciliation on a regular basis to maintain the accuracy of our financial records.Managing fixed assets accounting, ensuring all assets are correctly accounted for and depreciated.Utilizing Great Plains and Business Central software to manage financial transactions and reporting.Providing financial management support, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.Working closely with both for‑profit and not‑for‑profit departments, providing financial guidance and support as needed.Qualifications
A minimum of 6‑10 years of progressive accounting experience.A strong background in month‑end close, financial reporting, and audit support.Experience or knowledge with both for‑profit and not‑for‑profit organizations (both are preferred but either is acceptable).Proficiency in account reconciliation and fixed assets accounting.Experience with Great Plains and Business Central software is a nice to have.Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.CPA certification is preferred but not required.If you are a detail‑oriented professional with a passion for numbers and a knack for financial analysis, we would love to hear from you.
