About LPPI

One of the key priorities at LPPI is ensuring that our people work every day in an empowered, supportive, diverse and inclusive culture. Practically, this means recognising and valuing the uniqueness of every individual in terms of background, experience, beliefs and circumstances. This starts with the recruitment process, where we partner with agencies that share our common goal and advertise on a variety of job boards to access the broadest spectrum of candidates.

And once successful applicants are on board, we trust our people to work in the way that works best for them, which typically involves a mix of office and home working plus an engagement model to ensure frequent two-way feedback.

We are very proud of our culture at LPPI and the benefits it brings to both our people and the business. But don’t just take our word for it! Recently, we invited our entire workforce to describe in three words what is great about us, and they said – our people, flexibility and collaboration.

Work with the wider team, asset class PMs and Investment Committee to build continuity and clarity of client total portfolio positioning.
  • Research and develop global macro themes and views published in flagship and ad-hoc publications, with the long-term vision of being able to drive the process of developing and producing original research and influencing asset allocation decisions.
  • Build and conceptualise tools and frameworks for internal analytical use.
  • Deliver global macro and thematic research views to internal and external clients.
  • Contribute to team discussions on global market views and asset allocation decisions.
  • Contribute to fundamental research of global asset classes.
  • Support the Head of Investment Strategy in developing the long-term investment strategy and recommending the most appropriate asset allocation to ensure that the investment portfolios meet LPPI’s Partner Funds’ long-term investment objectives.
  • Contribute to the oversight of the strategic and tactical asset allocation processes. This will include reviewing and providing feedback, alongside ensuring a consistent and high standard of macroeconomic analysis and modelling.
  • Work with the team to help deliver economic insights and investment recommendations to portfolio managers and the broader Investments team.
  • Support Portfolio Managers across Investments with research, modelling, and portfolio construction, in integrating investment strategy into asset class-specific investment decisions on an ad-hoc project basis.
